Petition drive begins today and lasts 120 days! Volunteers needed!
Now that low-wage workers all across the country (and in many countries) are raising their voices and fighting back, many politicians are trying to take the wind out of the sails of this new movement on behalf of the billionaire corporate owners by proposing increases in the minimum wage that keep workers just above the poverty level. But that is not what a living wage means! A living wage means more than just enough to insure that you can get back and forth to work!
Volunteer in our petition drive to put a /hr minimum wage on the ballot in Los Angeles! Beginning today, volunteer petitioners will be going out every single day.
If you are eligible to register to vote in California, you can volunteer for this historic campaign. Even if you are ineligible or unable to gather signatures, we still need your help with recruiting other volunteers by leafletting, postering and making phone calls throughout the duration of the campaign.
Please call 323 306-6240 to volunteer!
