download PDF (53.4 kibibytes) The Orange County chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State March 8th event will present Eddie Tabash, who is the chair of the Legal Committee of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. He will provide information on the current threats to secular government including recent Supreme Court cases.

Mr. Tabash is a constitutional lawyer who has filed amicus briefs before the Supreme Court and is best known for his brief before the California Supreme Court where he argued that confining marriage to heterosexuals was a concept based on religious beliefs and thus unconstitutional. He also chairs the board of directors of the Center for Inquiry, the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, and the Council for Secular Humanism.
