A political cultural presentation with LEONEL RIVERA, attorney who has represented political prisoners in Mexico and is currently representing ALBERTO PATHISTAN, a school teacher from Chiapas, who was denied due process and has now spent over 13 years in jail for a crime he did not commit.
Also presenting will be FRANCISCO JIMENEZ Pablo, a ex-political prisoner freed earlier this year 2013 after having been jailed in 2010. He is a spokesperson for the MOCRI-CNPA-MN. MOCRI is the Regional Independent Campesino Movement - National Coordinator Plan de Ayala (in Mexico). He will be discussing his incarceration and the general situation in Chiapas and Mexico.
There will be political music, food, a video and the presentation--discussion.
