Having lived in Cuba for decades (since 1984), this month the FBI placed former Black Panther, Assata Shakur on its “Most Wanted Terrorists” list, making her its first woman to be so targeted.
Join us Friday, May 24 at 7:30pm to hear the true legacy of Assata Shakur: her contributions to Black Liberation and the U.S. government's reasons for suddenly placing a million dollar bounty on her head.
This is a public forum, discussion is encouraged, and a small, donation will be requested at the door, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
