Art History & Culture Lecturer GREGORIO LUKE, formerly of the MOLAA and currently radio host on 90.7 KPFK will reveal the beauty, love and lust found in works of art from around the globe.
His presentation explores the intimate connection between sex, eroticism, and love. Examples of eroticism in literature in ancient texts like the Kama Sutra to contemporary authors. We will also discuss mythic lovers like Casanova And Don Juan present slides of classic erotic art and read the best love poetry.
DJ’s Jose Benavides and Kilabeat, will bring back memories playing a very eclectic mix of lover’s anthems. Taking you back to memory lane with a mix of east side Oldies, Latin Soul, 50’s, 60’s, lovers rock and Latin romanticas and trios.
