Each Classical Revolution: LA Indie event gets up close and personal with some of the best emerging composers in Los Angeles. December 8th features music by composer George N. Gianopoulos and stellar Los Angeles-based performers, including members of the Symbiosis Ensemble!
George N. Gianopolous' music has been described as "winningly melodic...joyful and spirited" by critic Ted Ayala. His music has been performed throughout Europe and the U.S., including premieres in Israel and Greece and regular performances in Southern California. George was commissioned by the Glendale Philharmonic to write his Sonata for Two Celli for their Positive Motions concert series. He is the Composer-in-Residence for the Los Angeles based Symbiosis Ensemble and concert series Music @ Mimoda.

Classical Revolution: Los Angeles presents chamber music in relaxed, accessible venues throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Called an "addictive new series" by Mark Swed of the L.A. Times, concerts are performed at coffee shops, bars, clubs and even outdoors! Classical Revolution was founded in 2006 at the Revolution Cafe in San Francisco. The Classical Revolution model has spread around the world, with over 30 active chapters in cities around the US, Canada and Europe.
