March to coincide with Trayvon Martin's family-led march in Orlando, FL, Monday, Mar. 26, Pershing Square (corner of 5th & Hill), gather @ 4pm, march @ 6pm
This Monday, community organizations are mobilizing for a mass Million Hoodie March in LA demanding justice for Trayvon Martin, an African American teenager stalked and killed by a vigilante claiming "self-defense." His killer still walks free. This march will coincide with a march led by Trayvon Martin's family in Orlando, Florida.
Outrage has swept the country over the outrageous killing of Trayvon Martin, and the state of Florida's unwillingness to arrest his killer, George Zimmerman. To win justice for Trayvon, people are mobilizing from coast to coast to build the public pressure necessary for action to be taken.
Wear a hooded sweatshirt and join us for this important march to demand: Justice for Trayvon Martin! Arrest George Zimmerman! Stand against racism! Defend Black youth! Repeal the "Stand Your Ground" law!
