Community Film Screening of "The Black Power Mixtape"

In celebration of Black History month the ANSWER Coalition will be hosting a special screening of "The Black Power Mixtape". The film chronicles the rise of the Black Power movement in the United States in the sixties and seventies and features amazing never before seen documentary footage. Many important political figures of the era, like Stokely Carmichael, Angela Davis and Bobby Seale are also featured in the film as well as Talib Kweli and Erykah Badu. Please come for a night of entertainment, discussion, food and drinks!
