OccupyLA will be holding a major event this Saturday around Bank Transfer Day which will include a large rally at the California Plaza, march through the financial districk and return to the occupation site at City Hall.

We will create a visible Queer presence at the march by gathering as a group at the march with the Rainbow Flag banner -- we have 8 flags for people to carry to show our visibility and everyone should make signs to carry identifying ourselves. Some suggestions for signs include: Rainbow or pink triangle symbol with the words, Part of the 99%, 99% Queer, etc. Be creative, make your own and bring some signs that identify us clearly as part of this movement.

We will meet at California Plaza downtown at 10:00am 11/5 -- look for the flags as a spot for us to gather and march as a group (California Plaza is located at South Grand & 4th St (350 S. Grand Ave) -- you can take the Metro to Pershing Square and walk over from there - contact waibling@yahoo.com if you need further info/directions. This should be a high energy, well attended event (the last march drew over 5,000 people). Let establish a VISIBLE Queer presence there!!
