"Recolonizing Palestine: From the Ottoman Empire to the First Intifada", Tuesday, Oct. 18, 7pm. The Party for Socialism and Liberation invites long-time activists in the Palestinian solidarity struggle and newcomers to the issue of Palestinian self-determination to take part in this free educational series, every Tuesday evening now until Nov. 29th. The first class is, "Recolonizing Palestine: From the Ottoman Empire to the First Intifada" and focuses on the arrival of the first Zionist settlers, colonial policy toward Palestine, and the first intifada from 1936-1939 that was a heroic attempt to defend Palestine from increasing Zionist settlement.
