PSL Anniversary Meeting in LA: Seven Years of Socialist Struggle Friday, June 24 ? 7:30pm - 10:30pm
PSL LA Office, 137 N. Virgil Ave #203, LA, CA 90004
Join the Party for Socialism and Liberation on Friday, June 24 for a very special anniversary meeting and celebration in Los Angeles. There will be speakers, solidarity statements, slideshows, political discussion, food and drinks and more.
The PSL formed in June 2004 based on the belief that the economic crises of the capitalist system, and the system?s inherent features of racism, sexism, anti-LGBT bigotry, police violence and ...environmental destruction must be stopped. It is clear in the midst of today?s crisis that we need a dedicated revolutionary party now more than ever. Join us for a festive and educational night as we discuss the PSL?s accomplishments, hear from members and allies and strategize about the next steps in the struggle: - Why a revolutionary party is needed today and what the PSL has done to forward the ideas of socialism. - What are the next steps for the working-class struggle and what is the PSL's role? - Learn about the past seven years of the PSL?s work and how you can get involved. - Statements from members, friends and allies about the PSL's contributions to the movement for revolutionary change.
