but the rest of the year they are left to languish without job opportunities, education, housing,
health care and other basic necessities. GIs and veterans are committing suicide at alarming rates.

- the conditions facing GIs abroad and veterans at home
- the importance of GIs and vets actively participating in the working-class struggle
