Every year millions of dogs, cats, rabbits, monkeys, sheep, goats, horses, birds, rats and mice are experimented on in labs all over the world. Increasing numbers of doctors and scientists agree that human health problems cannot be based on medieval ritual of experimental research on animals. The fact is after more then 100 years of massive animal-basedresearch at a cost of billions of taxpayer’s dollars, crippling and deadly diseases of all kinds are affecting an ever-increasing number of people. Far from curing anything, we are losing ground in the fight against cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, AIDS muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis & Alzheimer’s disease to mention a few. The choice is not between rats and babies, the choice is between real science and counterfeit science. Please wear black or red & walking shoes. Wear sunscreen and bring water. Signs will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Metered street parking is available, paid parking lot on Le Conte & UCLA campus *please do not bring your dog(s)
