EMERGENCY BENEFIT SHOW TO SUPPORT THE FALSELY ARRESTED IN OC-
On Saturday, August 3rd, 2002 at 6:00 P.M., Atlachinolli Front will host a benefit show to raise funds to pay for the legal defense of two activists falsely arrested in Orange County. Naui Huitzilopochtli was falsely arrested on July 4th at the Costa Mesa Nike Town protest, and Leti Rodriguez was falsely arrested on June 18th at a Fullerton mascot protest. Naui was charged with assault and battery, and Leti was charged with disturbing the peace, disrupting a public assembly, and resisting arrest. This is serious police repression, and we desperately need funds for legal defense.
The show will take place at the Unitarian Church of Orange County, at 511 S. Harbor Blvd., (at the corner of Harbor and Santa Ana St.) in Anaheim. The show will feature a family friendly atmosphere, with food, live bands, guest speakers, and fun for all.
