The next planning meeting of the Los Angeles Housing and Hunger Crisis Conference planning committee is this Friday, March 4 at 3:00 PM at the Southern California Library for Social Studies and Research, 6120 S. Vermont in Los Angeles (between Slauson and Gage). Feedback, input, comments on the blog website would be appreciated. Please get involved in putting this conference together. We want to plan a media and outreach campaign to bring grassroots people facing the issues of gentrification, foreclosures, evictions, homelessness and the privatization of public housing in their own lives, as well as people engaged in strategies and organizing to deal with crises, and with food and water sovereignty and other other urban environmental justice issues.
