Things That Get Buffed
An exhibition featuring artists whose work focuses on the timely issues at hand with regard to art censorship and the dialogue and history that certain "powers that be" are trying to eradicate from the public's common consciousness. The exhibition will highlight paintings, events, and murals that have been created in Los Angeles and by one group or another "buffed" and removed from our city's landscape.
Opening Reception: Saturday February 5, 2011 6-9 pm. With beats by DJ Phyz Ed and Live Painting by: Mear One. Artwalk event takes place on Thursday, February 13, 2011 from 6-10 pm. With live t-shirt printing by HIT N RUN. Exhibit ends: Sunday, February 27, 2011
*Also a special guerilla street theater performance by the Phantom Street Artist and produced by the ART SAVES LIVES collective (only on opening and artwalk nites)
