ANSWER Film Screening of "Sir, No Sir!" GI Resistance to U.S. War Machine Fundraiser to send Young Veterans to D.C. for Anti-War Mass Action
Wednesday, Dec. 8, 7 pm 137 N. Virgil Ave, #203, Los Angeles 90004 (5 min. from Vermont & Beverly Metro stop)
Film introduction by Michael Prysner, Iraq war veteran and co-founder of March Forward!
Join ANSWER for a film screening of the award-winning film "Sir, No Sir!" that chronicles the importance of resistance within the U.S. military to the Vietnam War. The need for anti-imperialist resistance to the current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq--both inside and outside the military--is relevant to our work today. And it is happening.
On Dec. 16 in Washington, D.C., there will be a mass anti-war civil resistance action led by Afghanistan and Iraq war veterans. Come to this screening to help veterans from LA get to D.C. to be part of this historic event. We'll have an introduction to the film and political discussion following.
