Within the context of brutal budget cuts, and putting the issue of child welfare in the larger context of women's poverty, the Community Dialogue will be a coming together of those of us impacted by the cuts, separation of families by the Department of Children and Family Services, policies that separate immigrant families, and other caregivers and those they care for including children, vets, people with disabilities, elders, to tell our stories and build toward further actions together. Money for families and communities, not war and occupation! Policy makers and advocates invited to hear from YOU. Come and speak out, share your story!
Also LA film premiere: 'DHS - Give Us Back Our Children' - mothers and others come together to reclaim children from the foster care industry.
Arts in Action, Childcare, Lunch, Spanish Translation, Wheelchair accessible.
