THIS TUESDAY - EYEWITNESS HONDURAS Meet Social Movement Leaders on U.S. Tour Hear First-Hand Testimony From the People's Struggle Tuesday, Oct. 19, 7pm 137 N. Virgil Ave, #201, Los Angeles 90004 Map Bus & Metro Join ANSWER Coalition and other organizations at a Public Forum on Oct. 19 to meet the leaders of social movements in Honduras. There will be eyewitness reports from these organizers and activists who worked to resist the U.S.-backed coup in 2009 and are now continuing the struggle to build a true people?s movement. They will describe their success in obtaining over 1.3 million signatures demanding a constituent assembly to rewrite the current constitution, which was created in 1982 by a military dictatorship with U.S. support. Featured speakers include: ?
