Live Video Remix of SOUNDS OF A NEW HOPE, a documentary film on hip-hop and the Philippine struggle for freedom, featuring Kiwi (of the Native Guns). The film will be re-mixed and re-edited by the filmmaker, Eric Tandoc (DJ ET) live on two turntables using Serato Scratch Live video DJ technology with new, never-before-seen scenes.
The evening will feature a FREE outdoor screening & concert in beautiful Downtown LA, with live music performances that are integrated into the film.
The Live Remix will be a complete fusion of music and film to raise people's awareness and consciousness about the progressive movement of Filipinos in the U.S. as well as in the Philippines.
