Our goal is to make sure politicians and the media know Americans won't stand for Social Security cuts, and to support progressive solutions to the deficit, like rolling back the Bush Tax Cuts and rooting out wasteful military spending. We need a big turnout to show support for MoveOn Members and others inside the Town Hall calling for progressive solutions, and to show the town hall organizers that Americans expect real dialog on the deficit.
It's critical that we're there on-time so the media sees us before the town hall begins.
