Dr. Roberts will speak on his life experience and his book, Lessons from Little Rock.
Dr. Roberts was one of nine courageous Black students to integrate Little Rock Central High School in 1957. At his first day of class he and 8 other African-American students were met by a hostile crowd and the National Guard. We welcome you to learn his invaluable lessons from Little Rock.
Dr. Roberts is a graduate of CSULA, UCLA, and Southern Illinois University. He has been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Oprah Winfrey, The Rachel Maddow Show, and NPR\'s Tavis Smiley Show.
