Everyone has a story to tell, and every story is worth telling. Stories of struggle, stories of real lived experiences, stories of the imagination, stories of pain and suffering, stories of love and desire, stories of resistance to injustice, stories of war and violence, stories of hope, stories of victory, stories of our generation. What stories do you have to tell? Will you use your word as your weapon?
Our Word is Our Weapon (OWOW) exists as a hate-free, anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, safe space for young people to create, grow, change, cultivate, reflect, and transform through art as critical and conscious expression. OWOW exists at the intersection of art and activism, individual growth and community empowerment.
