Join us for a Celebration of the Life and Music of Fred Starner.
For those who knew and appreciated Fred's gentle wisdom, wit, dedication to peace and his unique performance style - there was nobody who could play a folk song on a twelve string guitar or a banjo quite like Fred - his presence will be sorely missed. A good man is gone.
Come celebrate Fred's life. There will be music, stories, and a screening of Fred's documentary film, "That's The Ticket, Roadhog", a fascinating look at today's hobos in America, still riding the rails, carrying on a way of life dating back to the 1930s and holding hobo gatherings and even music festivals.
Following the film there will be a Q&A with the director, Bill McIntyre.
