Activists have been defending the Family Planning Clinic on Westmoreland against the right-wing religious group FDFL (http://www.40daysforlife.com) for the past 5 weeks--providing safe passage to the women seeking health care and helping to keep the clinic open. The Anti-Abortionists' goal is to shut down this clinic and all clinics that provide abortion services to working class women. We urgently need your help in joining us this weekend in keeping this clinic open and safe.

This is the final Saturday of the bigots 40 day campaign of harassing women seeking health care....help us send them off demoralized!!! Bring signs and many friends!!! If you haven't been out to the picket line we encourage you to come and help out...it's a great experience of struggle and solidarity.

Activists, students, women and men who want to defend a woman?s right to control her own body are invited to join us starting at 6:30am at 601 South Westmoreland in Los Angeles.



Since the passage of Roe vs. Wade in 1973, the conservative right has been chipping away at abortion access on both the legal and ideological front. Currently, more than 80% of all counties in the United States have NO abortion provider. It is time for this trend to stop. Access to legal and safe abortion is an important health care issue and a basic issue for women?s equality and health. Please join us in standing up for women?s rights!!! We won't go back!!!
