Activists have been struggling against the right-wing religious group FDFL (http://www.40daysforlife.com) for the past 2 weeks--providing safe passage to the women seeking health care and helping to keep the clinic open. The Anti-Abortionists\' goal is to shut down this clinic and all clinics that provide abortion services to working class women. We urgently need your help in joining us this weekend in keeping this clinic open and safe. The last few weekends our side has been outnumbered --but we know there are more people out there that support a woman\'s right to abortion. This Saturday (October 10th) the bigots will be marching from a church near MacArthur Park to the clinic at 601 S. Westmoreland that we have been protecting and we have heard they will be bussing more anti-abortionists into Los Angeles... so we really need your help!!

Activists, students, women and men who want to defend a woman?s right to control her own body are invited to join us starting at 8am at 601 South Westmoreland in Los Angeles.



Since the passage of Roe vs. Wade in 1973, the conservative right has been chipping away at abortion access on both the legal and ideological front. Currently, more than 80% of all counties in the United States have NO abortion provider. It is time for this trend to stop. Access to legal and safe abortion is an important health care issue and a basic issue for women?s equality and health. Please join us in standing up for women?s rights!!!
