Leonard Peltier's birthday is Saturday, September 12th.

LA, we need your support.

The Los Angeles Community will be holding a vigil for Leonard Peltier and Ben Carnes (during his fast to bring awareness to Pres.Obama about Peltier's injustice).

The vigil will take place from 1 to 8pm at Nahui Ohlin Cultural Store on Friday September 11th and 1 to 8pm on Saturday September 12th.

There will be a prayer gathering at 6pm on Saturday the 12th.

People may bring small items for the vigil, which will include artwork and gifts. We would like to get these to Peltier's family.

Artists should get involved, and I encourage you to create something small that will bring positive energy to Peltier and his family. (Please nothing larger than what would fit in a shoe box as this may be expensive to ship). I will be shipping these items out on Monday the 14th.

If any of the artwork or gifts needs returned to the owner dropping them off, they will need to pick them up before 8pm on Saturday the 12th. Anything that is left after this date will be sent to Peltier's family, depending on what is possible.
