Breaking the Silence
Survivors of torture from around the world recount both their torture and the emotional healing begun through TASSC International (Torture Abolition Survivors Support Coalition). Following the screening, there will be a Q & A with Mario Avila (torture survivor from Guatemala) and Maria Guardado (torture survivor from El Salvador), members of TASSC International and SOAW-LA.
