r_r-email-blast-final.jpg, image/jpeg, 590x439 LA ArtLab presents ROUND AND ROUND, a group art installation featuring a three-room immersive forest of spherical and circular objects in a carnival of different colors, materials and sizes, designed to induce laughter, play, reverie and rumination.

15+ innovative emerging artists from within the LA ArtLab collective combine their individual works to create a composite installation, which presents a cohesive system of elements unified by the commonality of shape.

Works include mixed media, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video and digital media and performance. While each work has a separate identity, each also serves as a component for the intricate, sprawling structure of the installation as a whole.

ROUND AND ROUND, will be on display for the opening and closing events on Saturday May 2nd and Saturday May 9th. Additional viewings can be arranged May 4 ? May 8 by appointment.

LA ArtLab was founded in June of 2005 with the goal of creating a strong network of artists focused on creative collaboration, artistic experimentation, community involvement, social and ecological consciousness and charitable work. The LA Artlab community is an international mix of artists with diverse backgrounds and a wide range of approaches to art making. The group meets regularly to critique and discuss art, collaborate on work and inspire artistic exploration. LA ArtLab is currently in the process of planning several upcoming thematically based Los Angeles area art shows.

Upstairs at the Market Gallery, owned and operated by The City Market of Los Angeles, is located above one of the oldest produce markets in the country and provides space to emerging and established artists.
