Considered one of the premier mixed martial artists in the world, Monson has a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, a two-time winner of the Abu Dhabi Submission Grappling World Tournament, and has competed in the UFC 65 Heavyweight Championship. Monson has a Master?s Degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Conflict Resolution. He is also known for his anarchist views and is a member of the Industrial Workers of the World union.
