Mass media is arguably the fourth branch of government as it’s main purpose is to ensure that the public is aware and alert in a democratic society. But is the media really doing that?
To effectively answer this question we have to analyze the components that encompass mass media:
(1) The role of the mass media
(2) The content of the mass media
(3) What fuels mass media?
(4) What affect does the mass media have on people?
