David Barsamian, producer of the award winning, syndicated Alternative Radio will be speaking on fairness and accuracy in the corporate media. Alternative Radio is broadcast on 125 stations in the United States and Canada, and in more than 100 countries via short-wave.
His interviews and articles appear in The Progressive, The Nation, Z Mag and other journals and magazines. He is author of numberous books with Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Eqbal Ahmad and Edward Said. His series of books with Chomsky, America's leading dissident, have sold in the hundreds of thousands and have been translated into many languages.
Alternative Radio can be heard on KUCI 88.9 Thurs at 9am and on KPFK 90.7 Fridays at 3pm
