Americans United for Separation of Church and State will present Jim Armendaris of the Orange County Human Relations Commission on the 2007 Hate Crimes Report on July 19th at 2:00 pm. Following the report will be a panel discussing religious hate crimes in Orange County. Participating on the panel is Stuart Bechman representing the Atheist community, Tareef Nashashibi representing the Muslim community, Dr. Gurpeet Singh Ahuja representing the Sikh community, Nat Rynn representing the Jewish community and Sarah Halverson representing the Progressive Christian community. The event will be at the Irvine Ranch Water District (Multipurpose Room) 15600 Sand Canyon Ave. (at Waterworks) Irvine, CA 92618. There is no charge for the event and snacks will be provided.
