On the fifth anniversary of the invasion and occupation of Iraq, over 200 U.S. military veterans gathered in Washington, DC for "Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan," organized by Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW).
For four days, veterans from across the country came together to testify about their experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan - and present video and photographic evidence
In addition to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, military family members, mental health advocates, GI rights organizers and independent journalists such as Amy Goodman, Jeremy Scahill and Dahr Jamail gave testimony.
Join us as Los Angeles members of IVAW report back and present video from this historic event.
