You (and all of your fancy friends) are invited to the Grand Opening of a brand new community space and alternative and do-it-yourself free library by and for the folks here in Santa Barbara!! (And, of course, all of our lovely visitors).

The party will include snacks, meals, and music throughout the day. The purpose of this party is to show off our new space and to give everybody an introduction to all the resources we\'re offering. Whether your looking to plant a garden, start an art project, write an essay, have a meeting, or even organize a party, protest, your school or your workplace, we want to give you the tools, information and space to make your dreams come true. Don\'t worry about going through the management; we\'re all the management, including you, so just show up with an idea and some courage to follow through!



The following musicians are scheduled to play, but if you show up with some music and you\'d like to jam, I bet we\'ll make it happen:

*Note: We know that the Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations are the same day. This is wonderful! The schedule says that the last MLK event begins at 11 AM, while ours starts at noon and doesn\'t end til night! Some of us will be attending the rally, and we hope to see you there too!
