Stop the South Central Injunction!
L.A. City Govt is moving to install street injunction from the Harbor Freeway to Crenshaw, from MLK to 52nd st. It would include a 10pm curfew, prohibit access to Vermont Square Park, criminalize public association and profile clothing and style.
The stated target is Rolling 40s and will, Baghdad-style, authorize all sort of police aggression in the neighborhood as residents will be demanded to announce identity, relations, affiliations, record, status &c.
Real war on poverty, crime & street violence begins with education, jobs & training, recreation & culture. Police aggression and war on democracy make problems worse not better.
