Dr. John Gamon is the ONLY CSULA faculty member who is doing research in the field about global warming. He has worked extensively in Alaska and in the Southern California grasslands, and, four years ago, even saw his experiments destroyed by wildfires!
Dr. Gamon's presentation will cover not only his own work, but what we can do about the future. This event is intended to kick off a series of events which will culminate in the January 31, 2008, Focus The Nation events, to be held on more than 800 college and high school campuses nationwide.
