On March 6, 2007, ICE agents raided the Michael Bianco plant in
New Bedford, Mass, arresting about 360 people, many of them
who had children that were left without parents as a result of this
brutal raid?. MAYA K?ICHE, an indigenous Maya community group immediately organized a 700 hundred person rally agains the raid. They also helped launch the ?Where?s my mother campaign? that pressured ICE into releasing many people. Such a group
show that an ORGANIZED and UNITED immigrant rights movement can FIGHT and WIN against the raids. They are coming to show us how they succeeded and to ask for help in getting more victims of these raids released. JOIN US!!!
