Arlington West @ UCLA, located at Wilson Plaza May 29th ? 31st (Wilson Plaza is located at the bottom of Janss Stairs, between Kaufman Hall & the Student Activities Center. For a campus map, go to www.ucla.edu/map) Arlington West is a memorial created by the Veterans for Peace, LA chapter to acknowledge the human cost of war, mourn the loss of life at the hands of violence, and educate the public. Veterans for Peace have been setting up this exhibit, with a cross for each soldier who has died in the war, every Sunday on the beach in Santa Monica since February 2004. This exhibit has appeared at a number of university campuses, and we are honored to present it for the first time at UCLA!
The Human Cost of War @ Wilson Plaza Students and professors will read the names of U.S. soldiers and Iraqi civilians who have died in the war. All are welcome to participate.
