Spring Equinox/Ostara Ritual - Presented by Reweaving A public ritual to celebrate spring!

WHERE Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area 4100 S. La Cienega Blvd. Los Angeles (Baldwin Hills) 90056 Park in the upper hill lot, per car, and look for the Reweaving signs There is a 10 minute easy walk to the site
WHO This is a family-friendly event. Men and women welcome; children are welcome with adult accompaniment.
WHAT This Wiccan ritual honors the spring equinox ? the halfway mark between winter and summer when day and night are of equal length. The ritual is a celebration of springtime and growth, the renewal of life that appears on the earth after the winter. We will gather rain or shine.
Assistance is needed with set-up and altar building, please arrive at or soon after 1 p.m. This ritual is "clean and sober," i.e. no recreational drugs or alcohol. Please bring food to share for the post ritual potluck; bring your own plates and utensils. ReWeaving is an open circle in the Reclaiming Tradition. ReWeaving hosts public rituals in the Los Angeles area and offers classes and workshops in magic, ritual, sacred drumming and more.
