Saving the Safety Net: A Conference Responding to Cuts in Health and Social Services and Building Community Advocacy
This conference will look at the drastic cuts in health and welfare services and the particular role that non-profit community agencies and organizations can play in resolving the problem. Addressing the crises requires organizations to find strong and appropriate roles for advocacy on public policies and to assist recipients to speak out and organize themselves.
