The Los Angeles 912 Commission is better known as the Neighborhood Council Review Commission.
This is the first of Commissioner Laws' monthly town hall meetings. "Talking 912" will be informal and take place on September 1, 2006, 6:30 pm at the Marvin Braude Constituent Services Center, Room 1-B, 6262 Van Nuys Blvd., Van Nuys, CA 91401.
The agenda for this meeting will include: definition of a stakeholder, categories for NC candidates and outreach.

Although Laws' monthly meetings will be held in the South Valley Planning area, all Angelenos are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
"Talking 912" hopes to provide stakeholders with additional time (beyond public comment time at commission meetings) to brainstorm, present suggestions and debate about 912 issues.
