LA Jews for Peace, an ad hoc group of Jewish anti-war activists, will conduct a peace vigil outside the Israeli Consulate, 6380 Wilshire Blvd., on Friday, July 28, noon - 1 PM, to urge all sides in the Middle East conflict to declare a ceasefire.
Holding signs that read "Ceasefire Now!" "Violence Begets Violence" and "War is Not the Answer", LA Jews for Peace will urge the Israeli government to return to the peace table, rather than continue the bombardment of Lebanon.
