PROTEST RACIST MINUTEMEN IN HOLLYWOOD

Equality For All! Amnesty and Legalization Now!

Saturday, July 8, 4 pm

* Gather at corner of Hollywood & Argyle, LA (Metro Red Line stop Hollywood & Vine)

* Or meet at the A.N.S.W.E.R. Office - 1800 Argyle Ave, #410 - at 3 pm. It\'s 1 block away from the protest.

On Saturday, July 8, join pro-immigrant organizations, including the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition, at a counter demonstration against the racist, anti-immigrant Minuteman Project and other neo-fascist groups. Minutemen members and supporters will be marching through Hollywood that day in a so-called "United States of America March."

They claim to be celebrating the people of the United States, including "legal immigrants," but their underlying racism against all immigrants is unmistakable. These groups are directly aligned with white supremacist and Nazi organizations. Their rallies only target Latino immigrants. They praise \"the rule of law\" while completely ignoring the underlying causes for migration - imperialist wars and racist U.S. economic policies.

A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition and others will gather at the corner of Hollywood and Argyle to confront the racist Minutemen and say "No Human Being is Illegal!" We will also pass out informational flyers in the surrounding area urging people to join the counter protest and oppose anti-immigrant racism and bigotry. Bring banners and signs to show your support for immigrant rights and to denounce the racists.

Now is the time for everyone to stand up for full equality, legalization and amnesty for undocumented workers. No to racism and the Minutemen! No to a guest worker program! The struggle for justice has no borders!
