Palestine Film & Forum: 'My Land' A Film About Life & Struggle in Palestine Tuesday, June 27, 7:00 pm 1800 Argyle Ave, #400, LA Download flyer here: http://answerla.org/pic/homepagecurrent/PalestineFilmMyLand.pdf The new prize-winning film "My Land," directed by Tone Anderson, depicts the continuing struggle of Palestinians against home demolitions and land expropriation by the Israeli colonial state. It documents the threat that Palestinian families face daily from the Zionist occupation forces to destroy the homes they build on their own land. This is a rare film about the 1.3 million Palestinians who were issued "Israeli citizenship" and live inside the 1948 borders, yet are still struggling under apartheid conditions 57 years after the racist state of Israel was imposed upon them. Plus update on the current crisis in Palestine and political discussion. Screening sponsored by National Council of Arab Americans and A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition. -10 donation requested.
