Is a U.S. intervention really what’s needed?
Although the U.S. has bombed, impoverished and fueled civil war in Sudan, some well funded organizations in the West and even some in the anti-war movement are calling for sanctions and U.S. intervention into Darfur. But the history of Africa shows that intervention, exploitation and manipulation by the powerful Western countries is the cause of the problem - not the solution!
-How is U.S. and French funding of Darfur rebels through Chad exacerbating the crisis?
-How did Britain historically create divisions in Sudan?
-Is Sudan\'s vast oil wealth a factor in U.S. designs on the region?
Hear discussion of these topics and more.
