Friends:
As you may know, in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, women are
reported missing at an average of 1-2 a week. Most
will never be seen alive again. We are requesting your
attendence in a procession for Peace and Justice for
the Hijas de Juarez (Daughters of Juarez).
Let everyone know about this important vigil. Every
person counts. Our hope is to get more than 300 people
in memory of the more than 300 women that has been
abducted, raped and murdered in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico.
The events that are happening in Cuidad Juarez are
crimes against humanity. WE ENCOURAGE THE PEOPLE OF
LOS ANGELES TO TAKE ACTION AND SPEAK OUT.
What: Vigil in White (please come dressed in white
clothing)
Where: Plaza Olvera (we will gather across the street
from Union Station, 845 N. Alameda Street, Los
Angeles.) Look for all those dressed in white.
When: December 12, 2002 Dia de la Virgen
Time: 7pm
