The LA Campaign to End the Death Penalty is having a Live from Death Row
meeting on Saturday, June 17th at 2 pm, featuring Kevin Cooper calling in
from San Quentin's death row. The event will be held at the Echo Park Film
Center, 1200 N. Alvarado, in Echo Park (at Sunset and Alvarado).
Kevin came within hours of being executed in February 2004 for a crime he didn't commit. He is fighting from within the
walls of prison to make his case and abolish the death penalty. Come and hear
this powerful voice for justice!
