Tom Bedonie from Big Mountain will be speaking on relocation issues and water issues facing the Dineh people today as well as other ongoing injustices that continue here in America.
Californians are asked to pressure Southern California Edison to not use Black Mesa coal. Mohave Generating Station must remain closed. Alternative forms of energy need to be addressed, those that will not adversely affect others hundreds of miles away who have no electricity themselves. Updates on S. 1003, the Navajo-Hopi Land Settlement Amendments and other related issues will be discussed.
