Scott Ritter, former UN weapons inspector in Iraq, will be the first speaker in the 2002-2003 Social Activism Speaker Series (SASS). Mr. Ritter has been an outspoken critic of the Bush administration's current drive for war with Iraq, and has questioned many of the claims made that Iraq possesses or is close to possessing weapons of mass destruction. The talk, entitled "Understanding the Roots of Terrorism: Iraq as a Case Study", will take place on Wednesday November 13th, at 8pm in the Ramo Auditorium at the Caltech campus in Pasadena.
